Soil resistivity processing

As the new lightning protection standard BS EN 62305:2006 is embraced by more companies the requirement to undertake soil resistivity surveys and to have the results processed is increasing. JMI have been supporting companies since its inception in this area and are pleased to see this service rapidly increase in popularity and provision. A member of the earthing team commented: "since this time last year we have seen this sort of service leap by about two hundred percent, which is certainly keeping us busy! It's good that people aren't cutting corners in this area; if you mess around or take chances in providing effective earthing for serious electricity like lightning or significant fault currents then things can get bad very quickly. We like to think that our team is making it easier for companies to make their facilities as safe as they can be, and we'll go on doing that.'
